Shenandoah River Adventures

A visit to Virginia’s famous Shenandoah Valley wouldn’t be complete without a scenic trip on the Shenandoah River! Shenandoah River Adventures is an outfitter/livery located at 415 Long Avenue in the beautiful town of Shenandoah, Virginia. We are just east of Harrisonburg and only 15 minutes from Massanutten Resort, as well as very close to attractions such as Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and George Washington National Forest. It’s the perfect spot for a vacation or getaway in the great outdoors.

We have river trips for everyone from the beginner to the expert. Our standard trips include all the equipment necessary for canoeing, kayaking, or tubing.  Fishing trips, Appalachian Trail aqua blazing, as well as reasonably priced hauling/shuttling for those with their own canoe or kayak can also be arranged.

 Appointments are served first. Same day appointments are available on some dates, and we can usually accommodate walk-ins. Reservations, however, are best!
