Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive - US 211 east, Luray 22835. A scenic, historic drive open year-round. Stretches the length of the park (105 miles), offering overlooks with widespread views to east and west. More than 500 miles of trails, streams and waterfalls, mountain peaks, wildlife, wildflowers, and rock formations with seven picnic areas, a meadow and historic structures. Visitors may pass rock piles, old chimneys and other relics of the families who once lived here.
