The perfect romantic weekend really requires just two things: the right person and the right place. While we can’t help you find the right person, the Shenandoah Valley has an abundance of right places for romance. And right now a number of enticing romance packages are available. Below we suggest a few of the less travelled places – the cabins, inns and B&Bs that we think will put the zip back in your romance.
L’Auberge Provencale
Located in White Post (Clarke County) L’Auberge Provencale, is a French-influenced, romantic B&B with superb dining, lovely

Shadow Mountain Escape
Stay in a secluded timber-frame cabin with Shenandoah National Park* literally in the back yard. Various packages are available 
involving wine, winter, honeymoons and a focus on romance. The secluded, 15-acre property is minutes from Main Street in Luray. While you’re there, ask about the Blue Ridge Whisky-Wine Loop.
Shadow Mountain’s Winter Mid-Week Cabin Getaway offers discounts for couples. Select from their Bumble Bee, Dragon Fly, Ladybug or Butterfly cabins. Weekday rates for two guests for two nights: $370 + tax. Mention this promotion and receive a complimentary welcome basket.
Piney Hill B and B
Located not far from downtown Luray but surrounded by pastoral farmland and classic views of the Blue Ridge. Piney Hill’s

South Court Inn
South Court Street in Luray is a quiet, historical street with clear views of peaks in Shenandoah National Park. The South Court 
Inn B&B is a two-acre hideaway on this street, with Victorian décor and surrounded by lush gardens. It’s private and an easy walk to Luray’s Downtown. South Court’s “Luray Relax and Unwind Package #1” (Yes, there is a #2), with a two-night or more stay in the Turquoise Room, allows you to enjoy a one-hour each couples massage (two masseuses). Natural Bridge Historic Hotel & Conference Center, Natural Bridge
The hotel provides accommodations for business and vacation travelers. Located about 14 miles south of Lexington, with
