Come out this summer and enjoy great music under the stars in a beautiful mountain setting!
The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival has been bringing great music to the Valley for more than 50 years. Each summer the Festival presents eight to 10 concerts, featuring the best artists in country, bluegrass, pop/rock, folk, Americana and classical music. Past performers include Bruce Hornsby, LeAnn Rimes, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Rhonda Vincent, The Temptations, Kris Kristofferson, Ricky Skaggs, The Oak Ridge Boys and more.
Concerts take place mid-July through Labor Day weekend at Shrine Mont, a beautiful, historic retreat and conference center in the quaint village of Orkney Springs, Va. Situated at the foot of Great North Mountain, the venue provides a stunning backdrop for concerts, and its modest size allows for great views of the stage from both the pavilion and lawn seating areas.
Online ticket sales begin early April. Go to musicfest.org to order tickets and find out about upcoming concerts.
